How It Works
What Happens, Step by Step
No mystery and no pressure. Here is exactly how a job runs from the first phone call to the moment we pull out of the driveway.
Free Estimate
Call, text, or send the form. We will ask a few questions about the tree and the access, then set a time to come look at it in person. The estimate is free, there is no obligation, and you do not need to be home for most assessments, though it helps if you are.
Plan & Confirm
You get a written price and a clear scope: which trees, how much cleanup, whether the stump is included. Nothing starts until you say yes. If the job needs a permit or a utility disconnect, we tell you at this stage rather than on the day.
Expert Execution
The crew arrives when we said we would, with the right equipment for the job. We protect what is around the work area, rig anything that cannot simply be felled, and work in sections when a tree is close to a structure.
Clean Completion
We haul everything away and rake the area down. Before we leave, we walk the property with you. If something is not right, we fix it then and there, not on a follow-up visit.
Before the Day
What We Need From You
Very little, honestly. Clear vehicles out of the driveway and off the street near the work zone if you can, unlock any gate we will need, and put pets inside for the day. Chainsaws and chippers are loud, and animals react unpredictably to them.
If there is anything fragile near the tree, such as a septic lid, an irrigation head, a garden bed you care about, or a fence panel that is already loose, point it out during the estimate. We plan around it, but only if we know it is there.
Permits and utilities
Some municipalities require a permit to remove certain protected trees. If yours does, we will tell you at the estimate rather than the morning of. Anything involving contact with power lines has to go through the utility first. That is not a rule we can work around, and you should be wary of anyone who says otherwise.
On the Day
What It Looks Like
We arrive when we said
If we are running behind because a job before yours ran long, you get a call rather than silence.
The area gets protected
Plywood over delicate surfaces, ropes to control the fall, and sections taken down one at a time near structures.
Noise, then quiet
Most residential removals are a few hours. Large or awkward jobs can run a full day; we tell you which yours is up front.
A walkthrough before we go
We look at the property together. Anything not right gets fixed then and there.
Start with the free estimate
It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Worst case, you get an honest opinion about a tree you were worried about.
